If you are a Salon interested in participating in Austin Fashion Week 2010, please continue reading and completing the application below. If you need more information about Austin Fashion Week 2009, please look through the “Media” section on this website.

ELIGIBILITY: All salons are invited to participate in Austin Fashion Week including those whose home-base is not in Austin, Texas.

As a participant, you are agreeing to do the following:

1. Host a pre-chosen designer (we create the pairing) inside your salon space for the entirety of Austin Fashion Week (August 14-21, 2010). The designer will work with you to set up space that works for both of you based on any limitations you may have. You and the designer can determine how to manage any sales of their merchandise that occur during the event.

2. Host one event along with your designer during Austin Fashion Week. You and your designer will be responsible for any costs associated with that event.

3. Provide a 10% discount to any customer holding the Passport to Fashion (a book customers can have stamped to be in the drawing for a $5000 shopping spree).

4. Pay the appropriate participation fees.

In return, you will receive (CHOOSE ONE):

OPTION A:

1. A profile page on FashionWeekAustin.com including a biography of your salon along with photos.

2. A button so the public can vote for your salon for the Austin Fashion Awards.

3. Nomination to be considered by the critic’s panel for the Austin Fashion Awards.

4. You receive one vote in the Peer Awards category so you can vote for your own favorite salon in Austin (you may not vote for yourself).

5. Your event(s) posted on the official Austin Fashion Week calendar and a feature on the daily email blast for your event(s).

6. Participation entry on the Passport to Fashion (a book you stamp when a customer uses it. The customer submits the book for entry to win a $5000 shopping spree).

7. 2 tickets to the Austin Fashion Week Kickoff.

8. 2 tickets to the Austin Fashion Awards.

9. 2 tickets to the Austin Fashion Awards After Party.

COST: $500 + $100 Gift Card (Launch787 Advertiser Cost: $300 + $100 Gift Card)

OPTION B (includes all of OPTION A plus):

1. Up to 10 hair stylists and makeup artists (total) entered into Austin Fashion Week in their categories with no extra fees assessed.

2. Logo placement in the bank of logos at the bottom of all pages on FashionWeekAustin.com.

3. Half Page ad in the Passport to Fashion.

4. Half Page ad in the Austin Fashion Week Kickoff program.

5. Half Page ad in the Austin Fashion Awards program.

6.Insertion of promotional material in VIP gift bags at the Kickoff event, the Austin Fashion Awards and the Austin Fashion Awards After Party.

6. Product giveaway (you provide the product) in the Silent Auction at both the Kickoff event and the Austin Fashion Awards After Party benefitting Austin Involved.

COST: $1000 + $100 Gift Card (Launch787 Advertiser: $600 + $100 Gift Card)
